The Caribbean – Luxury Home of the Stars

The Caribbean

Luxury Home of the Stars

There is much more to the Caribbean than just sun, sea and sun. Any visitor to our shores would leave feeling a sense of nostalgia due to the fact that the islands certainly know how to cater to your every whim and fancy. Whether it be sailing, shopping, partying, fine dining, water sports or anything else under the sun, you would find yourself right at home on many of the stunning Caribbean islands.

Indeed some celebrities have made the Caribbean their home. Actor Johnny Depp owns a private island in the Bahamas. The island of St Thomas is a second home to John Travolta. Mick Jagger and David Bowie are residents of Mystique island. Richard Branson, Oprah Winfrey and Eric Clapton all own homes in Antigua. Other celebs to own homes in the Caribbean include: Faith Hill and her husband Tim McGraw, David Copperfield, Chuck Norris, Nicholas Cage and Sean Connery, Eddie Murphy, Michael Douglas and wife Catherine Zeta Jones.

The islands are certainly considered a romping ground for the rich and famous names in showbiz. After all the hustle and bustle caused by the demands of their careers, they want to just escape to the privacy and luxury of an island paradise, away from the meddling paparazzi. Even though they may be far away from Hollywood, they do not have to compromise on comfort. The islands have all the amenities to cater to the most discerning guest or inhabitant. Five star restaurants, with internationally acclaimed chefs, are sure to soothe the most delicate palate. Luxury resorts also offer privately owned villas both in the rainforests and on the beachfront giving visiting celebrities all the privacy of their own home  but with all the amenities and staff that come with a high end hotel. Nothing says fun more than a night out under the moonlight. The sound of the titillating steel drums creates a carefree and dreamy atmosphere.

Such wonderful feelings and memories of the Caribbean islands keep top celebrities coming back for more, every time.
